The Judicial Commission of Inquiry into allegations of State Capture, Corruption and Fraud in the Public Sector including Organs of State.


The Judicial Commission of Inquiry into allegations of State Capture, Corruption and Fraud in the Public Sector including Organs of State ("the Commission") was appointed by the President of the Republic of South Africa in terms of section 84(2)(f) of the Constitution of the Republic of South Africa of 1996, to investigate allegations of state capture, corruption and fraud in the Public Sector including organs of state in line with the Commission’s Terms of Reference. The Honourable Mr Justice Raymond Mnyamezeli Mlungisi Zondo, Deputy Chief Justice of the Republic of South Africa, was appointed as the Chairperson of the Commission.
